WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of New Baltimore hereby finds that a necessity exists to create a lighting district in the area of the Town known as the Kalkberg Commerce Park with said district established on an ad valorem basis with only those properties benefited by the lighting service to be made a part thereof, and

WHEREAS, a map plan and report describing the Lighting District to be known as New Baltimore Lighting District No. 2 having been duly filed in the Office of the Town Clerk on April 9, 2007, and

WHEREAS, the improvements proposed are as follows:  establishment of a lighting district to provide lighting in the area known as Kalkberg Commerce Park.

WHEREAS, no funds are proposed to be expended for said improvements, as the lighting poles and fixtures have been provided by the Greene IDA, and

WHEREAS, no bonding or other financing will be required, and

WHEREAS, the boundaries of the proposed Lighting District are set forth in Exhibit A, available for public view at the Town Clerk’s office.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the Town Board shall meet at the Town Hall, Route 51, Hannacroix, New York on May 14, 2007 at 7:15 p.m. for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on such proposal to establish New Baltimore Lighting District No. 2, described herein and to hear all persons interested in the subject thereof concerning the same.
