NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NEW BALTIMORE TOWN
BOARD
PROPOSED UPDATE TO
TOWN OF NEW BALTIMORE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AND DRAFT GENERIC
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the New Baltimore Town Board will hold a
Public Hearing on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the New
Baltimore Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51, Hannacroix, NY to hear
public comments on a Draft Comprehensive Plan for the Town of New
Baltimore, incorporating amendments to update the Town of New Baltimore
Comprehensive Plan adopted in 1974, and to hear public comments on the
Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement prepared for the Draft
Comprehensive Plan. This Draft Comprehensive Plan includes a
Vision Statement; Goals, Subgoals and Strategies relative to rural
character and environmental quality, economic development, agriculture,
and administration of local laws and ordinances; a general future land
use map, implementation plan, and other supporting documentation.
A copy of the Draft Comprehensive Plan of the Town of New Baltimore is
available for public review during business hours at the Town Clerk’s
Office at the New Baltimore Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51,
Hannacroix, NY, the Ravena Community Library, 15 Mountain Road, Ravena,
NY, the Heermance Memorial Library, 1 Ely St., Coxsackie, NY, and the
Greenville Public Library, Route 32, Greenville, NY, and on the
internet at www.townofnewbaltimore.org.
